Camms is pleased to bring you the Quarterly Product Release Note for Camms.Engage.

This quarter we've got a number of exciting new features and enhancements to improve your user experience within the system, which was deployed to your Test environment on 20th March 2021 and will be deployed to your Live instance on 3rd April 2021.

1. Introducing the budget status indicator in the project phase summary extended component

This enhancement will introduce a standard 'Budget Status' indicator from Camms.Project, to the existing Project Phase Summary Extended component. This can be configured  by an administrator and then be displayed to users.

How do you configure this?

  • In the Dashboard Admin panel, a new standard field from Camms.Project will be available where the visibility of the filed can be configured.
  • An administrator can tick on the 'Visibility' checkbox in the configuration menu of the Project Phase Summary Extended component, in order to display the field in the front end of the dashboard.

Notes:

  • The visibility of the 'Budget Status RAG ' would be unticked by default.
  • The addition of the above ‘Budget Status RAG’ field will be compatible with all refresh options, rollover option. and all other general features/functionalities of the dashboard.

2. Introducing the capability for scorecards to drilldown to sub scorecard levels

This enhancement provides administrators the flexibility to display all the sub-scorecards linked to the parent scorecard. Previously, the Scorecard List and Scorecard Node components only displayed scorecards which are linked directly to a selected hierarchy node.

How does this work?

  • When a scorecard list/node is  dragged and dropped into a particular hierarchy node, that will display a list of all the scorecards which are linked to that hierarchy node. In order to see the child scorecards associated with the parent scorecard, an administrator can drilldown and add a scorecard List/Node component.

  • The below components will be listed down once you drilled down into a parent scorecard List/Node component.

  • Once you drag and drop a sub-scorecard List/Node, this will display a list of all sub-scorecards associated with the parent scorecard. An administrator can then enable/disable the visibility of scorecards based on their preference, by clicking on the edit button.
