1.10 Change in custom tables

When adding records to a custom table, a popup will be displayed now. This is in response to customer feedback that the previous behaviour (where it opens as a panel at the bottom of the table), was at times confusing. Now both adding a new record or editing an existing record will both open in a popup window. The 'Add New' button's placement has been updated to make it clearer that it is part of the relevant custom table.

Sycle Note: This change in custom tables will be available for our SYCLE customers as well.

The spell checker functionality in the compliance type creation pages has now been removed.

Sycle Note: This change will be updated for our SYCLE customers as well.

2. Default values of new review periods and non-editable progress information of completed reviews

The Action progress update feature for actions have been enhanced to incorporate the following features:

  • A recurring action’s progress information will auto default as ‘Not Started’, 0% complete, and Comment as 'Null' for a newly enabled review period.
  • The editability of the progress information fields will be non-editable within the My Quick Update and Action Details pages, after a review has been completed.

Sycle Note: This modification will be available for our SYCLE customers as well.

How do you configure this?

The ‘Show Action Progress Updates’ tick box requires to be enabled for an 'Action Object' (accessed via Camms.Compliance > Menu > Framework > Compliance Settings > Object Configuration > Action Object > [enable Show Action Progress Updates]).

How will this work?

2.1 Default values of new review periods for progress information of recurring actions

  • In a Compliance Action record, in the 'Action Details' subtab where the ‘Is this a recurring action?’ checkbox is ticked, the progress information within the ‘Action Progress Update’ subtab will auto default as follows for a newly enabled review period:
    • Status – Not started
    • % completed – 0%
    • Comment – Null
  • The values will auto default to the next enabled period when a review has been completed by clicking the ‘Finalise Review’ button, or when the period automatically gets locked out at the end of the period, without the review being completed.
  • Additionally, the values will automatically synchronise with the same corresponding fields within the ‘Action Details’ tab and the 'My Quick Update' page of the Action Responsible Officer, at the beginning of the period, as per the calendar date without requiring any manual saving.
    Example:
A monthly recurring review when completed for the month of May, on the 20th of May, will automatically synchronise only on the 1st of June.
  • The auto default values will not change if a past period is undone via the ‘Undo’ icon and then finalised.

Note: The ‘Undo’ icon will appear only for users who have the standard permission ‘Undo Finalised Review Details for Actions’.

Figure 2.1: New period default values

2.2 Progress information field non-editable after a completed review

  • Once a review has been completed for a period by clicking the ‘Finalise Review’ button, the progress information fields (status, percentage complete, and comment) will now be non-editable within the 'Action Details' page and the 'My Quick Update' page for the Responsible Officer of the action.

Note: If an action review has been finalised for the period as the status of ‘Complete’ and ‘100%’, that action will not appear in the 'My Quick Update' page since completed actions do not display in the user’s 'My Quick Update' page, as per the existing behaviour.

  • The fields will be enabled for editing on the 1st day of the next period.
    Example:
A monthly recurring review for the month of May, is completed on the 20th of May. The progress information will be non editable until the 31st of May and will become editable again on the 1st of June.
  • In the event the ‘Show Action Progress Updates’ setting is disabled after a review is completed, the progress information fields will be enabled for editing.
  • If the progress information for a finalised period requires to be edited, the period needs to be undone via the 'Undo' button. The 'Undo' button is only visible for users with the relevant permission.

3. Adding the compliance code/title to the header area of a compliance record

This feature will introduce a change in the header of an open compliance record to display the Compliance Code and Compliance Title, making it easier for you to follow which compliance record is open when navigating between the tabs.

Sycle Note: This modification will be available for our SYCLE customers as well.

Figure 3.1: Compliance title in header

  • An administrator can configure the Compliance details page title by navigating to 'Camms.Risk Compliance > Menu > Framework > Compliance Settings > Compliance Type > Register Type: Compliance Register > [Name of the Compliance type]'.
  • The administrator may select either the ‘StandardComplianceText’ option or Compliance Code and/or Compliance Title options.
  • If the ‘StandardComplianceText’ option is selected, the display text configured for ‘StandardComplianceText’ in 'Camms.Risk Compliance > Menu > Framework > Compliance Settings > Display text > [Label Reference: StandardComplianceText]' will be displayed in the header area when any Compliance record is opened.
  • Alternatively, the administrator may select the Compliance Code and Compliance Title which will populate the relevant code snippets in the adjoining text box. These code snippets will populate the relevant records’ code and title respectively, in the Compliance record’s header area.
  • The administrator can configure the order in which the Compliance Code and Compliance Title should appear, add characters such as ‘-‘ or ‘ /’ or spaces, which will directly reflect in the Compliance record’s title.
    Example:
If the configuration for ‘Record details page title’ is [ComplianceCode] – [ComplianceTitle] in 'Camms.Risk Compliance > Menu > Framework > Compliance Settings > Compliance Type > Register Type: Compliance Register > [Name of the Compliance type]'.
A Compliance record with a Compliance code ‘COM32’ and Compliance title ‘Development Plans’, will display 'COM32 – Development Plans’ in the header area of the Compliance record.
  • By default, the application will display the StandardComplianceText.

Note: This can additionally be configured for Policy and Authority Document register types.
