Project Listing Report

The Project Listing Report is designed to provide  extracts of all projects with project progress and budget progress information.

Report Filters


Filter

Description

Date SelectDropdown allows selection of a specific time period. Defaults to the current reporting period.
Parent/ Standalone ProjectsDropdown list of all parent and standalone projects within the system. Allows you to select a parent/ standalone project. “Show All’ is selected by default

The project proposal report is designed to provide the users with the ability to extract Project business case, budget and assessment details of a project. The report includes all the data specified within the project proposal phase.

Project Selection Report

The Project Selection report is designed to provide the users with the ability to extract Project(s) details within the system. The project managers can view the reports prior to project approvals.

If ‘Risk Assessment’ object is not available within the current phase, risk ratings will be referred from the latest available phase.

BudgetDisplays the Annual Budget defined within the Preliminary Budget object
ApprovedIndicates whether the project has been approved or not via a tickbox graphic (if ticked, the Final Approval object has been approved).

The Project Evaluation report is designed to extract project evaluation details of the projects which have been completed.

Project Rollout Summary Report

Project Rollout Summary Report is designed to provide the users with the ability to extract basic information on projects along with a graphical representation of the project performance against a selected timeline.

The date option enables you to select a specific time period and filter projects with their start and end dates falling within the selected time period. Defaults to the current reporting period.

Projects

A tick box list of projects which allows you to select one or multiple projects from the list. Un-ticked by default. You can refine the list of projects using the criteria defined in the search box.

Project Type

Dropdown list of all project types available within the organisation. Allows you to select a project type. “Show All” is selected by default

Directorate

Dropdown list of all Directorates available within the organisation. Allows you to select a directorate. Default selection is the 'Show All' option.

Department

Dropdown list of all Departments available within the organisation. Allows you to select a department. Default selection is the 'Show All' option

Project Status

Project Sponsor

Timeline and Performance

Timeline

This report area will contain columns to represent each month of the selected reporting period from the Date Select filter.

A dashed vertical line will be drawn across the graph to represent the current date/period. This will represent an approximate value.

Timeframe bar

A grey bar will represent the project timeframe (as applicable within the selected period). Project timeframe will be referred from the ‘Start’ and ‘Completion’ dates within the Project Details area.

If the project has started prior to the selected period from filters, an arrow head appended to the left-side of the timeframe bar will indicate that it had started before the selected period.

If the project is finishing after the selected period from filters, an arrow head appended to the right-side of the timeframe bar will indicate that it will finish after the selected period.

Performance bar

A bar coloured according to project performance values (i.e. Off track –red, On Track – green, Monitor – Amber) will be displayed to represent the project performance and the respective percentage value.

Project performance bar of ‘Completed’ projects (project % Complete value equals to 100) will be displayed in black.

Performance bar will not be drawn for the projects which are ‘Not Started’ (project % Complete value equals to 0).


Lessons Learnt Report

The lessons learnt report is designed to provide the users with the ability to summarise Lessons learnt for each project type. The report will display all details entered within 'Lessons Learned' object for each project.

Budget Report

The Budget Report is designed to provide summarised organisational project budget details over the years. This report displays budget details of the selected reporting period and immediate next four reporting periods.

To generate Budget Report, follow the steps below.

STEP 1: Click 'Report Explorer' to view the list of reports.

STEP 2: Select 'Budget Report' from the list.

STEP 3: Select relevant filters a period from the 'Budget report for 5 years starting from' drop down.

STEP 4: Click 'Preview' to view a copy of the generated report.

STEP 5: Select the output file type.

STEP 6: Click 'Export' to generate the budget report.

Project Tasks by Business Unit Report
The Project Tasks by Business Unit report is designed to provide the users with the ability to extract project and task related information for a selected business unit. Note that this will allow you to generate a report that spans across multiple projects focusing on the actual tasks undertaken by each business unit. It includes the details of project tasks, task progress, predecessors as well as the start and end dates of a task.

Master Report

Master report is designed to facilitates to generate customised cammsproject project reports based on the specific requirements. The most important feature of this report is the availability of list of options and you have the privilege to select relevant items to be displayed in the report.

When the visibility is configured for the new custom columns and if there are values available in those fields, they will be displayed in the Master Report by the label names which are configured in the Object Editor area of the respective object.

Search Box

Allows you to refine the projects using the criteria in the search box. These criteria will appear as per the amendments done to the search box through the project explorer.

Project Types

Dropdown list of all project types defined within Settings Configuration> Project Type area. Allows you to select a project type. Project type needs to be selected to retrieve projects for the report.  Once a project type is chosen, the workflow of that project type will appear below the filter enabling you to customize the report as you wish.

Project

The list of projects linked to the project type selected from the ‘Project Types’ filter will be displayed. You can select one or more projects to be displayed in the report from the project list.

You can also refine the project list using the criteria in the search box. If no criteria is defined in the search box, a list of all the 'open' and ‘upcoming’ projects which have the Project Type chosen will appear by default.

Workflow/Phases/Objects

The workflow of the Project Type chosen will enable you to customize the report and decide on topics which should appear on the report. Each workflow phase and Object has a tick box in front which is ticked by default. You can untick the tick box if the particular phase/object should not be included in the report.

The Report elements will depend as per the custom changes which are done using the workflow/phases and objects.

Premium Report

Allows you to refine the projects using the criteria in the search box. These criteria will appear as per the amendments done to the search box through the project explorer.

Project Types

Dropdown list of all project types defined within Settings Configuration> Project Type area. Allows you to select a project type. Project type needs to be selected to retrieve projects for the report.  Once a project type is chosen, the workflow of that project type will appear below the filter enabling you to customize the report as you wish.

Project

The list of projects linked to the project type selected from the ‘Project Types’ filter will be displayed. You can select one or more projects to be displayed in the report from the project list.

You can also refine the project list using the criteria in the search box. If no criteria is defined in the search box, a list of all the 'open' and ‘upcoming’ projects which have the Project Type chosen will appear by default.

Workflow/Phases/Objects

The workflow of the Project Type chosen will enable you to customize the report and decide on topics which should appear on the report. Each workflow phase and Object has a tick box in front which is ticked by default. You can untick the tick box if the particular phase/object should not be included in the report.

The Report elements will depend as per the custom changes which are done using the workflow/phases and objects.

Project Status Report

Project Status report gives a summary of the current status of a project or multiple projects.

Report Filters

 

Filter Description 
Search Box
Allows user to refine the list of projects displayed within the project grid below using the criteria in the search box. 
Project Grid This will show a list of projects as per the search criteria through the search box. The list of projects shown by default with no search criteria would be the 'open' projects. You can choose multiple projects if you wish. 
Action Filter Dropdown list of action tick box filters. This filter will allow user to further refine the projects chosen through the Project grid. All projects linked to the selected action filter will appear in the report. By default, the dropdown will be as 'Show All'. 
Related Plan Dropdown list of all Related Plans. This filter will allow user to further refine the projects chosen through the Project grid. All projects linked to the selected related plan will appear in the report. By default, the dropdown will be as 'show all'. 
Hide Cover Page The tick box will allow user to decide if the cover page should be included or not. By default this option is unticked. 
Hide Task List The tick box will allow user to decide if the task list should appear or not. By default this option is unticked.

Project Name Displays the name of the Project
Project Summary Displays the current progress and budget summary of the project.

Current Phase Displays the current phase of the project (i.e. initiate, closed) 
Phase Determination Status
Displays the status of the Final Approval object 
Project Positions Displays the project positions added to the report. If you wish to add project positions such as Project owner, Project Sponsor to the report, please go to 'settings configurations'>'system settings'>'include project positions in reports'. Further details, refer "Include Project positions in reports" 
Linked Strategy Displays the linked strategy number and the title. If a project is not linked, 'No strategy linked' message is displayed. 
Linked Action Displays the linked action/task number and title. If a project is not linked, 'No action/task linked' message is displayed. 
Action Responsible Person Displays the responsible officer and the position for the linked action/task. If a project is not linked to an action/task, this field will be hidden. 
Department Displays the Business Unit the action/task is linked to. If a project is not linked, Department is based on the projects' primary service profile. 
Service Displays the Service profile of the linked action/task. If a project is not linked and the projects primary service profile is not defined, then 'No service profile linked' message will be displayed. 

Project Dates Displays the project dates (start & end date and baseline dates). 
Project Budget YTD totalsDisplays the Action budget. If a project is not linked to an action, this grid will be hidden. 
Commentary 
Project CommentDisplays the 'project comment' included in the project details/quick update. If visibility is configured but comment is 'blank', 'no comments entered' message will be displayed. 
Additional commentary Displays the ‘Custom Areafield2’ in project details/quick update. If the visibility is configured but comment is 'blank', 'no comments entered' message will be displayed. 
Project Tasks Displays the task table visible in the current phase.

The project traffic light report is designed to generate  information on project performance and budget performance.

Description

  Date Select

The date option enables you to select a specific time period and filter projects with their start and end dates falling within the selected time period. Defaults to the current reporting period.

  Projects

A tick box list of projects which allows you to select one or multiple projects from the list. Un-ticked by default You can refine the list of projects using the criteria defined in the search box.

  Project Type

Multi- select check-box filter to select more than one project type. “Show All” is selected by default

  Directorate

Dropdown list of all Directorates available within the organisation. Allows you to select a directorate. Default selection is the 'Show All' option.

  Department

Dropdown list of all Departments available within the organisation. Allows you to select a department. Default selection is the 'Show All' option

  Project Status

Multi- select check-box filter to select project status (Open/Closed/Upcoming). Applicable if you have used the Close Project object in the workflows.

  Project Sponsor

Dropdown filter to select the relevant project sponsor. Show All” is selected by default

  Project Manager

Dropdown filter to select the relevant project manager. Show All” is selected by default

Project Staff Task Responsibility Report

This report provides basic information on staff involvement within various projects.

Report Filter

Duration Based on Tasks

The tick box will allow you to choose if the duration should be based on Tasks or Projects.

Date Select

This will allow you to input the date range. When the above tick box is unticked (default), the duration will be based on Projects.

Staff Allocation

This includes two dropdown menus which will allow you to narrow down the refining criteria for the report. Staff dropdown list includes a list of all the staff members and the position drop down list includes a list of positions.

 If you selects a staff from the dropdown list and does not select a position, a  list of projects where the selected staff is involved in the current phase will be displayed. However, if a position is selected along with the staff name (i.e. project manager), only the projects which the specific staff was involved as a project manager in the current phase will be displayed or vise versa.

Include Task comments

By default the task comments will be hidden. You can tick this check box for task comments to be visible in the report.

Project Phase

This includes two dropdown menus. From the first drop down, you can choose a specific workflow. This could be further narrowed down to a specific phase from the second drop down. By default these two dropdown menus are on 'show all'.

Board & Team allocation

This filter is used to display board & team members in projects. Using the gird, multiple selections (staff members or positions) can be configured with a combination as required.

Staff dropdown list includes a list of all the staff members with 'please select' displayed as default.

Position dropdown list includes a list of all positions configured in the 'setting configuration'> 'project position screen' and with 'please select' displayed as default.

Add button will enable you to include multiple staff members and positions. This will create a new row in the grid along with a 'delete' button in front of each row.

Board & Team member Department

This dropdown includes a list of all the departments with 'please select' displayed as default. This will filter out the projects where at least one member of the board & team is in the particular department.

Project's Department

This dropdown includes a list of all the departments with 'please select' displayed as default. This will filter out the projects which are linked to the particular department.

Project department is based on the 'primary service profile (in project details object)'.

Project's Service Profile

This dropdown includes a list of all service profiles with 'please select' displayed as default. This will filter out the projects which are linked to the particular service profile.

Project's Service Profile Grouping

This dropdown includes a list of all the service profiles grouping with 'please select' displayed as default. This will filter out the projects which are linked to the particular service profile grouping.

Include Cover Page

By default the cover page will be included for the report. You can hide the cover page by unticking this option.

Include Closed Projects

By default the report will be based on the open projects. However, you can tick this check box to include the closed projects.

This report extracts project advance scope data to determine the changes of scope and deliverables within project phases.

Filter

Hide Help Text

The tick box will allow you to decide if help text should appear or not. By default this option is ticked (enabled).

Project code and titleDisplays the project code and title of each individual project in the report
Project Status

Displays the status of the project (i.e. open or closed)

Current Phase

Displays the current phase of the project (i.e. execute, closed)

Approval status

Displays the approval status of the current phase ('sign off object>approval status')
Project PositionsIf you wish to add project positions such as Project owner, Project Sponsor to the report, please go to 'Settings Configurations > System Settings > Include project positions in reports'.
Project DatesDisplays the project dates (start & end date and baseline dates).
Advance scope details – This will display the phases of the project which includes advance scope objects. If documents and external links are included, they will be displayed in the report.
