List of items

1. Viewing linked KPIs from an Action

2. New KPI Summary Report

3. Enhancements to the standard Organisational Performance Report

3.1. Displaying Baseline Start and Baseline End Dates, together with the existing Start and End Dates in the Action Summary section

3.2 Ability to control the visibility of the KPI Trend column in the KPI Summary section

1. Viewing linked KPIs from an Action

This enhancement will let you view linked KPIs within the Links tab of an Action.

How does this work?

  • A new grid titled ‘KPI Links’, will be visible within the Links tab of actions (accessed via Main Menu > Planning > Corporate Business Planning > Actions > [Select an Action] > Links).
Note: The ‘KPI Links’ grid will be hidden when there are no KPIs linked or no KPIs to show due to permissions.
  • The ‘KPI Links’ grid will show the titles of the KPIs that are linked to the action. Clicking on the KPI title will open the KPI in a new tab in the browser.
Note: For our customers who have enabled the new Flexible Hierarchy permission structure, the linked KPIs will be made visible based on the logged in users' permission to KPIs.

2. New KPI Summary Report

This new KPI Summary Report will include the KPI Summary (target and actual) details, together with the KPI status and the latest KPI Progress Comment for a given period of time. This report can be accessed via Interplan > Reports > Performance Management > KPI Summary Report.

  • This report consist of multiple filtration options enabling you to filter and display the required content on the report. These filters include:
    • Hierarchy filter controller
    • Date select
    • Responsible Officer
    • Reporting Officer
    • KPI Calculation method
    • Period
    • KPI Aggregation
    • Stakeholder
    • Related Plan
    • Five (5) other checkbox filters where the report content will be generated based on the enabled filtrations

  • This report showcases the overall KPIs related to Organisational Hierarchy, Planning Hierarchy, and Custom Hierarchy in individual charts, to visualise the trend or the movement of KPIs for a selected period by the user.
  • The duration or the timeline of the individual KPI Summary charts will be based on the selected date range from the 'Date Select' filter within the report filter page.
  • At a time, the report will depict the KPIs related to the selected Hierarchy Type.
For example, if the Organisational Hierarchy is selected from the Hierarchy filter, the report will consist of KPIs linked to the Organisational Hierarchy only.Figure 2.2: Report content

3. Enhancements to the standard Organisational Performance Report

The standard Organisational Performance Report will be enhanced to display Baseline Start and Baseline End Dates, together with the existing Start and End Dates, available within the Camms system in the Action Summary section. You will be able to filter the report content using both dates. Furthermore, you now have the ability to control the visibility of the Trend column in the KPI Summary section.

3.1. Displaying Baseline Start and Baseline End Dates, together with the existing Start and End Dates in the Action Summary section

  • A new checkbox filter named ‘Show Baseline Dates’ will be included in the report filter page.
  • By default, this filter will be unticked, and the report will function as per the existing behaviour (i.e. the Action Summary section of the report will be filtered by the Start Date and End Date, and will only depict the same Start Date and End Date).
  • Upon enabling this filter, the Baseline Start Date and Baseline End Date will be depicted in addition to the existing Start Date and End Date, and the content will be filtered based on the Baseline Start/End Dates.

Figure 3.1.1: Report filter page

  • The Baseline Start Date and Baseline End Date will be depicted in a new header underneath the Start Date and End Date Columns, based on the selection of new checkbox filter ‘Show Baseline Dates’.
  • The report content within the ‘Action Summary’ section will further be filtered based on the Baseline Start/End Dates.

Note: The parameter 'Show Baseline Dates' will appear within the report filter page, only when the application parameter named 'Enable Baseline Dates' in the application settings is enabled. If this is not enabled, there will not be any impact to the existing report behaviour.

3.2 Ability to control the visibility of the KPI Trend column in the KPI Summary section

With this enhancement, the existing standard Organisational Performance Report will display the trend column in the KPI Summary section upon the selection of the new checkbox filter 'Show trend in KPI Summary'.

  • With the addition of the new filter, you will be able to enable/disable the KPI Trend column from the KPI Summary section.
  • By default, this checkbox filter will be enabled. Hence, the KPI trend column will be displayed within the KPI Summary table.
