Camms is pleased to bring you the Quarterly Product Release Note for Camms.Risk Controls.

This quarter we've got an exciting new enhancement to improve your user experience within the system, which will be available in your Test environment on 11th March 2023 and will be available in your Live instance on 25th March 2023.

This enhancement will let you view Controls based on its linkage to Risk and Compliance Controls within the dashboard. A clear distinction will be shown with regard to the linkage type and linked records. Control counts will be updated and you will be able to filter out details, based on hierarchy nodes.

How do you configure this?

• You will require to have the Linked Record Type and Linked Record fields visibility enabled (ticked) under 'Control Settings > Register Configuration > Control Dashboard Popup'.
• The below additional permissions will be required to view the linked controls:
  • In the Flex Hierarchy: User roles with permissions configured under Menu > Administration > Role Management > [Product = Controls] > View permissions.
  • Dashboard View permission to view the Dashboard and the related controls enhancement. 

How does this work?

• You will be able to view the Controls linked to compliances along with the Risk Controls in the Dashboard overview, compliance and controls tabs.
• You will be able to click on the Controls widget count and visualise a clear distinction between the controls linked to the specific record type and its respective linked records. This will be reflected within the Overview, Compliance, and Controls tabs. Further, within the Controls tab, Controls by Controls Effectiveness Rating widget too will reflect the Compliance Controls upon clicking on a specific Control Effectiveness slice.
• You will have the ability to select a particular hierarchy node available within the left-side panel of the Dashboard to reflect the Controls linked to the specific nodes selected as well.
