Camms is pleased to bring you the Quarterly Product Release Note for the Camms Incident Mobile Application.

This quarter we've got an exciting new enhancement to improve your user experience within the system, which will be available in your Test environment on 11th March 2023 and will be available in your Live instance on 25th March 2023.

1. Push notifications for mobile users

With this update, you will now be able to view notifications depending on a user's Notification Settings within the operating system of the device. This feature would be configurable within the settings area of the web application and would be available as a new tab within the mobile application.

Once the configurations have been made within the web application the notifications will trigger and will be visible to you. Here you will be able to visit the notifications tab within the mobile application and view the items assigned to you, the viewed notifications will be visibly different in view than the unopened notifications.

2. Restricting navigation across the workflow only via the Next button

Now you will be able to only navigate through the workflow by clicking on the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons. The option of navigating via tabs, will be disabled when this restriction is enabled within the mobile application, likewise, within the mobile application the navigation will be restricted through the 3 dotted menu,

You will be able to navigate through the workflow ONLY by clicking the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons.

3. Feature to show My Incidents in the mobile application

This modification will enable you to view Incidents that have been assigned to you and created by you, under a 'My Incidents' section. this would be triggered by enabling or disabling the toggle on the top tight of the screen. here you would be able to differentiate between all incidents and 'My incidents'.

Further, the separation will be for each register if you have multiple registers enabled.

4. Availability of in-app updates

Now you will be able to view the update option and update the application via a pop-up window. What this would do is, the application would display a pop up when the user opens the application where it would allow the user to update the application by clicking on the 'Update Now' button, or the user would be able to cancel the pop up and continue to use the application by clicking on the 'Skip' button,

If you have not updated the application within 7 days of seeing this popup, you will be forced to update the application.

Note: If the update is a compulsory update which would hinder the user from carrying out the work when using the mobile application, the user would not see an option to skip the update.
